This symposium represents the first collaboration between the RSC Biological and Medicinal Chemistry Sector and Oxford University's Structural Genomics Consortium. It aims to bring together chemists and biologists to explore how the interdisciplinary field of Chemical Biology is enhancing our understanding of the molecular mechanisms of disease. Topics will include discovery of chemical probes, protein-protein interactions, chemical modification of biological molecules, pathway deconvolution, chemical genetics and association of molecular targets with disease. These will be accompanied by perspectives on the growing trend of academic-industrial collaborations impacting chemical biology for drug discovery. The meeting will include a Poster Session, details of submission requirements are to be found in the Final Circular. Confirmed speakers include Prof Andrew Hamilton, Vice-Chancellor elect, Oxford University A Conference Dinner and overnight accommodation will be available at St
Anne's College. FINAL CIRCULARPlease click here to open a pdf of the Final Circular and Application Form. Attendance will be limited to 150 delegates so early application is advised. Full details are included in the circular. |
