The objective of the meeting
is to bring together scientists with an interest in inflammation research,
to encourage communication and discussion of recent
advances in the
development of new therapies for the wide diversity of serious diseases
with underlying inflammatory processes. The meeting will be opened by a
plenary lecture providing a perspective on the challenges in inflammation
research followed by individual case studies targeting a variety of
inflammatory mechanisms.
